Rampage Movie Trailer Rated, Expected to Debut With Justice League

Rampage was one of the most classic arcade games back in the 80s and 90s. It made its way to a console video game and was also very popular. Dwayne The Rock Johnson is starring in the film which just wrapped production in July. It appears that our wait for a trailer may be coming to an end, as it was just recently rated this week.

According to Heroic Hollywood, the trailer was rated Thursday night and should release online next week. As is the norm with trailers, it will hit online (most likely Youtube) prior to landing in theaters. With Justice League debuting next week as well on November 17th, and both film being created by Warner Bros, the belief that it will debut during the opening credits is getting more and more traction.

In the film, Johnson plays a primatologist who studies apes. An experiment changes one of his subjects into the menacing ape we know from the game, and it takes off from there. The official synopsis of the film is as follows:

Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry transforms this gentle ape into a raging monster. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered alpha predators. As these newly created monsters tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.

Rampage releases April 20th, 2018. Hopefully that means we’ll be getting an Infinity War trailer soon as well.
